Fintrex Finance appoints veteran IT professional Fonny De Fonseka as Director

Fintrex Finance Ltd. has welcomed Fonny De Fonseka as a new Director. De Fonseka is a trusted IT advisor, business partner and transformation agent with over 35 years of IT leadership experience across diverse businesses, from a leading conglomerate, an apparel leader to a retail giant. Fonseka is a well-known industry expert with competencies in IT strategy, IT division management, ERP implementation, process improvement, IT infrastructure and security and digital transformation.
Prior to joining the Board of Fintrex Finance Ltd., he served as the Head of Computer Business Solutions at Softlogic Holdings Ltd. and Head of IT at MAS Linea Aqua Ltd. Additionally, he has over 16 years of experience with John Keells Holdings Ltd., where he held roles including Director – John Keells Software Technologies Ltd. and Director of Accounting Systems in the Management Information Systems Division. He also serves as the Consultant/Chief Marketing Officer at AcSys Networks Ltd.
He holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK, and a Diploma in Computer Systems Design.
